Why We Race For The Cure
On Sunday, May 17th, the Perry & Carroll team participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Downtown Elmira. This was such an honorable journey to take together as the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Series is undoubtedly the most successful and largest fundraising and educational event for breast cancer in history. We are proud to share that we were able to raise over $700 this year!
What made Perry & Carroll enthused to participate in this amazing race is that 100 percent of the net proceeds from the race go towards fulfilling the mission of the organization. With one in eight women diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States, and a breast cancer-related death taking place every single minute, we race because it is the right thing to do.
Together, we can make a difference. When you help fundraise for the Race for the Cure and participate in the race, you make it possible to fight the tragic statistics head on as a collaborative effort. These races take place year-round across the country, so why not start a team, join our team, or even participate by yourself to help make a difference! Your registration fee will get you to the starting line of the Race, but your fundraising efforts help us inch that much closer to a cure.
