Obamacare Open Enrollment Period Coming To An End
With only a little over a month left in the Obamacare open enrollment period, it becomes increasingly more important that individuals who do not yet have health insurance and those who want to alter their coverage take action soon.
The open enrollment period will conclude on February 15, 2015, and if you do not hold health insurance once this date rolls around, you will be faced with a hefty penalty for each month that you are without coverage. While you may be inclined to view this as no big deal because you will simply obtain health insurance when you have the time and means to do so, restrictions through the Affordable Care Act state that you cannot seek health insurance outside of the open enrollment period unless you have qualified for the special enrollment period.
While many are continuing to view the requirements set forth by Obamacare as a burden, each and every one of us deserve essential health benefits so that we can prevail through accidents and illnesses. Rather than leaving yourself unprotected and paying unnecessary penalties, seek health insurance protection before the open enrollment period ends on February 15th!
