Mark joined our firm in 1979 and specializes in commercial property & casualty and surety. In addition to consultative work on risk management and insurance program design, Mark can assist with the placement of general liability, workers' compensation, property and special liability policies.
Mark is Immediate Past Chair of the Board of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of New York (IIABNY), after having served in other capacities at the state and local level. In his role with IIABNY, he is able to bring high level industry knowledge to the firm and his clients.
Mark was an insurance major at Penn State , graduating in 1979. He obtained his CPCU designation in 1987 and ARM designation in 1986. He is a member of the Society of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters.
In the community, Mark is currently on the board of the Arnot Ogden Medical Center and the Chamber of Commerce; his past directorships include the United Way, A.R.C, Glove House, and Arnot Art Museum. He is a 1991 Recipient of the Community Builder Award.
Mark is a mediocre golfer who suffers the highs and lows of being a fan of Penn State and the Steelers.
Mark's wife is Karen and they have five children.
