AMS User’s Group Chapter Leaders from across the country gathered on Southlake TX to attend seminars designed to prepare current and upcoming regional user group chapter leaders. 

Vertifore and AMS Users’ Group staff, partners such as Fujitsu, Agility Recovery, Agencies Online  and Sage gave presentations on such topics as harnessing the power of Social Networking (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook) and other technology to aid chapters.  Networking receptions allowed members to discuss issues common to chapters such as keeping attendance up in this economy, finding topics relevant to both AMS360 and AfW users and promoting new faces to leadership positions within chapters.

Anne Barab (www.AnneBarab.com) spoke on how to use humor to deliver your message and Gary Rifkin  (www.encoreencore.biz ) coached attendees how to speak like a professional when giving  presentations. 

As Vice President of the Western Central NY Users’ Group chapter Kim attended in preparation for her upcoming duties as chapter President.
