Personal products
Homeowners - An insurance policy that provides coverage for your home, personal property and personal liability. A tenants policy is a type of homeowners policy for those persons who rent their residence and this policy provides coverage for your personal property and personal liability.
Flood - Coverage against loss resulting from the flood peril, widely available at low cost under a program developed by the private industry and the federal government.
Automobile - Automobile Insurance is available to both commercial and personal entities. The insurance policy provides basically two types of protection:
- Automobile Liability Insurance: Protection for the insured against financial loss because of legal liability for car-related injuries to others or damage to their property.
- Automobile Physical Damage Insurance: Coverage to pay for damage to or loss of an insured automobile resulting from collision, fire, theft, or other perils
Umbrella Liability - This form provides a higher limit of coverage that is excess over scheduled underlying policies. It is used in one of three ways:
- to provide additional limits of protection over the coverage listed in your underlying schedule,
- to act as primary coverage if your underlying limits are exhausted, and
- to provide coverage for some risks, subject to a retention, when your primary coverage does not.
Personal Package Policy - An insurance package consisting of at least two parts which must be a personal automobile policy and a homeowners or tenants policy. Depending on the company, additional coverages such as personal umbrella or watercraft may be added to the personal package policy.
Recreational vehicles and Boats - Boat owners may obtain only liability coverage for watercraft or a special package policy for boat owners that combines physical damage insurance, medical expense insurance, liability insurance, and other coverages in one contract.
